- No cheating.
- Please wear your supplied name badge at all times.
- Avoid open drinks on the table.
- Play respectfully with others and make new players feel welcome.
- If someone doesn’t know how to play your game, please teach them.
- Please do not ‘table reserve’ by setting up a game then leaving for an extended time. If you are not yet ready to play please leave the table free so someone else can game there instead.
- If there is a shortage of tables, try to contain your game to one end of the table so another game can be set up on the same table.
- Treat the games and components with respect. Please return any games you borrow in the condition you found them. Consider how the components were bagged or stored and attempt to pack the game away in the same manner.
- Always check the floor for dropped pieces when packing your game up.
- Please put your rubbish in the bin. If the bin is full please notify an event organiser.
Registrations & Refunds
A. Our ticket registration is being managed through TryBooking.
When completing your registration, please make sure to put in your correct name and email address should we need to contact you in the future.
Tickets to BorderCon are offered via an initial invitation to long standing members of the BorderCon community. A Public Ticket Offer is then launched a few weeks later. Each year we have anywhere from 150-180 attendees..
Games & Storage
A. Our onsite vendor, Looking for Gamers, will have a small games library consisting of a mix of classic games and the current hotness. Many attendees bring their own games and are happy for them to be borrowed.
Food & Drinks
A. Food and drinks can be purchased at the bar located between the 2 function rooms. In addition you can order food from the restaurant downstairs. There will also be a snack table selling snacks (chips, lollies, fruit etc) in the top corner of the main function room. Please note that the snack table handles cash only.
Anything Else?
A. There is no ATM on premises, the closest being located at the nearby BP service station a block away.
BorderCon now has a Square Device that can be accessed for digital payments for the snack table and the purchasing of Charity Raffle Tickets.
